Michelle Richardson

Michelle
Richardson, CVT

Michele Richardson is a Certified Veterinary Technician with nearly 20 years of experience in the veterinary field. She graduated from Median School of Allied Health Careers (now the Vet Tech Institute) in Pittsburgh in 2003, and shortly thereafter earned her certification. Throughout her career, Michele has developed a particular passion for assisting doctors in surgery, where she feels she can make the most direct impact on the animals she cares for.
What Michele loves most about working in the veterinary field is the constant opportunity for learning. She thrives in an environment where every day is different, and she enjoys the challenge and unpredictability of her work.
At home, Michele shares her life with a Goldendoodle named Merk and a cat named Ozwald, who are both beloved members of the family. Outside of work, you can find Michele cheering on her kids from the sidelines of the soccer field, where she spends much of her free time.
A fun fact about Michele: she once had the opportunity to meet Jack Hanna at a veterinary conference in Orlando, an experience she’ll always remember!
